  1. Under the sea

To achieve the exact shades of the sea in the underwater painting, three colors- cobalt blue, ultra- marine blue and white are used. The sketchbook is tilted and used vertically to maximize the space and create more details in the painting.

Place a drop of cobalt blue and white paint at the top of the sketchbook to form the light blue water layer at the top. This is followed by a drop of cobalt blue and then ultra- marine blue for the darker shades of deep sea.

Use a flat brush and blend them all in layers to achieve a gradient.

      2.Sunshine

Choose a point at the top of the sketchbook where the sun is visible from below, in a worm’s eye view.

Use a flat brush to paint the rays extending downwards and upwards. Use a round brush to make a circle at that point and fill it with white paint to make it look like the sun, as visible from under water.

Make an outline of a diver with a pencil on the 180 GSM sketchbook. Color it with black acrylic to match the colour of the scuba gear.

      4. Make waves
