Materials required:
- Menorah Mixed media sketchbook
- Gouache paint
- Flat brush
- Round brush
1. Let’s create a sunset backdrop to make the painting look vibrant. Paint the first layer in the 180 GSM sketchbook with orange, the next layers with tangerine, honey and the last layer with yellow.
Blend them together to get a smooth gradient.
2. The clouds too reflect the colour of the skey during sunset. Mix yellow gouache with white and use a flat brush to draw clouds with this mixture on the 180 GSM paper
Highlight with white to make it more realistic.
3. For the Ferris wheel, draw two large semi circles using black paint and a round brush on the 180 GSM paper sketchbook. Also mark the focus point.
4. Draw slit like structure in between the two semi circles and connect them with rods extending from the focal point on the 180 GSM sketchbook.
5. Complete the scene by drawing Seats suspended from each slit and add miniatures of people within it to create a shadow effect on the 180 GSM sketchbook
